Hi, my name is Ana Glassman! I’m a graduate of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where I earned my Master of Science in Law with a focus on healthcare regulation, ethics, and policy. I also hold a B.A. in Biology with minors in Anthropology and Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, I work as a medical malpractice paralegal and as a part-time EMT-B, with future plans to attend paramedic school and pursue doctoral studies focused on improving healthcare systems.
I discovered my love for photography in 2020 and found my passion in capturing performing arts, sports, and nature.
During my time at Penn, I worked as a staff photographer and served as the Opinion Photo Editor for The Daily Pennsylvanian’s 137th board. Beyond student journalism, I served as a 2024 Class Board Creative Co-Director leading the photography and videography initiatives, and headed the production team for the K-Beats dance team, directing and mentoring a multimedia team in video and photo production, editing and graphic design.
Outside of photography, I’m passionate about improving the healthcare system—whether through research, clinical work, or policy. Having worked in multiple research labs exploring a diverse range of methodologies, I’ve realized that working at the intersection of health systems, policy, and medical humanities is the path I want to take. While I’m still figuring out exactly how I will achieve my goals, I’m committed to using interdisciplinary tools to help make healthcare more equitable, effective, and human-centered.
